[Anchor] Foreign buyers got a taste of Korea’s high-quality, eco-friendly products at a recent international architecture exhibition in Seoul. That’s because the individual pieces were manufactured at a factory that uses automation to cut construction and labor costs. Red clay is used for insulation, making this an energy-efficient home. The hanok was on display for five days beginning January 28 at the COEX Mall in Seoul, part of the 16th Seoul International Building Material and Decoration Fair. The fair also showcased tiles, furniture and other decorative items for homes—including a number of beautifully designed products that use LEDs, solar energy and eco-friendly materials.
